A performance inspired by the outrage in Napoli around Sebastiano Deva´s piece ¨Sacred Love¨ a response to the Pope´s statement against the use of condoms.

 

I was surprised how the community responded to this piece and how the media manipulated and sensationalized the information.

Religion as a bandage to every ones souls! Church and government working together with the same goals! Censorship disguised by ethical morals!

 

Witnessing what was happening in Napoli transported me to Mexico, a society where the masses are still controlled by the church.

 

Domingo (Sunday) being the day where rituals are dragged to purify ourselves.
